\"Sherman<\/a>Pat Sherman has joined Noticias de la zona residencial de San Diego<\/em> as assistant editor.<\/p>\n

Sherman has worked in San Diego news media for 15 years, including six years as a staff writer for the San Diego Union-Tribune<\/em>. In the mid-\u201890s he began his journalism career as a music and arts writer for the San Diego Reader<\/em>, during which time he formed the Urgent Writers, a group of local artists and poets that raised money for a San Diego City College scholarship fund. Sherman went on to serve for three years as editor of the San Diego Gay & Lesbian Times<\/em>. His work has appeared in San Diego Magazine<\/em>, San Diego CityBeat<\/em>, Pasadena Weekly<\/em> and other publications. <\/p>\n

Originally from Detroit, Sherman has lived in San Diego since 1990, including six years in Normal Heights.<\/p>\n
