{"id":241978,"date":"2020-09-14T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-09-14T07:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sdnews.com\/second-downtown-loyalty-sale-kicks-off\/"},"modified":"2020-09-14T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2020-09-14T07:00:00","slug":"second-downtown-loyalty-sale-kicks-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test.sdnews.com\/es\/second-downtown-loyalty-sale-kicks-off\/","title":{"rendered":"Comienza la segunda venta de lealtad del centro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Many of the local and small businesses in\u00a0Downtown\u00a0San Diego are still struggling as a result of COVID-19.\u00a0To\u00a0promote the economic and cultural vitality of Downtown San Diego\u00a0and create immediate support for those struggling businesses, the\u00a0Downtown\u00a0San Diego Partnership is\u00a0launching\u00a0the second phase of the Downtown Loyalty\u00a0sale\u00a0at noon\u00a0on\u00a0Tuesday,\u00a0Sept. 15.<\/p>\n<p>While\u00a0businesses\u00a0have pivoted their services, innovated in outdoor dining, and found other creative ways to continue\u00a0operating,\u00a0support from the community\u00a0at this critical time\u00a0could\u00a0mean a world of difference to help\u00a0Downtown\u00a0businesses stay open.\u00a0The Downtown Loyalty store\u00a0is an easy, digital way for Downtown residents and visitors to support the small businesses they know and love and be introduced to the others that\u00a0all help\u00a0create Downtown\u2019s unique vibe.<\/p>\n<p>Starting on Sept. 15 at noon, customers will be able to\u00a0select from\u00a0a\u00a0limited\u00a0supply of gift cards from\u00a0nearly 50\u00a0restaurants, retail and coffee shops\u00a0in Downtown. Each\u00a0$25\u00a0purchase of a gift card also comes\u00a0with a\u00a0free\u00a0$10 bonus\u00a0from philanthropic fundraising.\u00a0That&#8217;s $35 total\u00a0of direct revenue for Downtown businesses\u00a0that\u00a0can also be used\u00a0toward a great Downtown experience.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt has been nothing short of remarkable to see the grit and dedication of Downtown\u2019s business over the past several months. We know they\u2019re doing everything they can to hang on, but we were certain we could find a way to match the generosity of our community with a creative idea to provide them some direct revenue alongside our other efforts,\u201d said Betsy Brennan, President &amp; CEO of the Downtown San Diego Partnership. \u201cThe success of the Downtown Loyalty store thus far has been a testament to the level of support for these businesses that is out there in the community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The first sale of the Downtown Loyalty store launched earlier this summer and sold out in only four days.
