Undoubtedly.<\/p>\n<p>According to her mother, Betty Amber, Sarah was shy as a child, uttering barely a word but painting when she was a year and a half old.<\/p>\n<p>On July 7, Stieber staged a Grand Bash Opening for a summer showing of her magical paintings at the Mee Shim Fine Art Gallery in Downtown San Diego\u2019s Little Italy. Stieber\u2019s artwork will be on display at the gallery through Aug. 26 with a closing reception at the gallery on Aug. 24.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15210\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15210\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15210 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/sandiegodowntownnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Ribbons.jpg\" alt=\"Vivid images of life\" width=\"600\" height=\"447\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 600px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 600\/447;\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15210\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Artist Sarah Stieber with examples of her \u201cRibbon\u201d series paintings during the Grand Opening Bash of Stieber\u2019s summer gallery in Little Italy on July 7 <em>(Foto por BJ Coleman)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Stieber calls her painting style electric realism or hyper-realism. \u201cI want to create a more beautiful version of reality,\u201d Stieber said.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes, Stieber simply calls her art \u201cmagic.\u201d Indeed, her paintings are aptly referred to as magical, with brilliant colors, reflective elements and vivid images of life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to emanate beauty,\u201d Stieber said. \u201cI want to put magic out into the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stieber recounted that although she studied as an arts major in college, she contemplated a career as a therapist or as an artist. She worked on the \u201cRibbon\u201d series in 2017, and then began exploration of depicting magical superpowers with this year\u2019s \u201cSuperhero\u201d series.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a big experiment,\u201d Stieber said. \u201cI want to soak up the experience. McGuire has followed her for eight years, because they travel in the same art circles. McGuire works in glass.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I appreciate about Sarah is that she is able to capture positive human emotions. She catches the color of the soul,\u201d McGuire said. \u201cPeople can relate to her paintings. I am drawn to her work. And there is something special about Sarah. She has a gift, a creative drive. And she has great family support. Her paintings are full of life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHer work is about living a strong, purposeful life. Her art centers on the excitement of the present moment,\u201d McGuire continued. \u201cHer paintings remind people that life is worth living. She is very talented at free-hand drawing. Road &amp; Track magazine announced a children\u2019s competition for best painting of a car. Young Sarah named her car painting \u201cThe Ying Yang Flyer,\u201d and placed first in the nation. The next year, Sarah competed in the same contest, with \u201cThe Porkster,\u201d again winning first place. Amber said that she kept encouraging Stieber to pursue her artistic talent as her daughter grew older. \u201cSarah loved to draw,\u201d Amber said.<\/p>\n<p>Amber laughed over having substituted her former title as \u201cmomager\u201d in assisting Stieber\u2019s career, for the more serious and sedate title director of operations. Amber now helps with moving the art and curating it. Amber observed that theirs is a family of entrepreneurs, and yet they know this is a risky venture Stieber has embarked on. \u201cThe opening was special.
