\u201cPhotographs Through the Eyes of Six Italian Photographers\u201d is a photo exhibit curated by the Civic Museum of Pavia, Italy, presented in partnership with the San Diego City College Italian Language and Photography departments, and sponsored by the House of Italy.<\/p>\n

The display includes photographs of the northern Italian city of Pavia by Italian photographers from the 19th to the 21st centuries. The opening reception is April 7 from 5\u20138 p.m. and the exhibit is on display April 7-21 in the San Diego City College Luxe Gallery, fifth floor of Building V, 1080 16th St., East Village.<\/p>\n

The history of chocolate and how it came to this country is an interesting tale of seafaring travels. This year\u2019s Chocolate Festival will be held from 10 a.m.\u20134 p.m. on multiple vessels at the San Diego Maritime Museum, 1492 North Harbor Drive.<\/p>\n

The event features more than 15 vendors showcasing and offering samples of various types of chocolate. Kids and adults can make their own chocolate pizza. Adults can participate in the wine and chocolate or beer and chocolate pairings as well as live baking and cooking with chocolate demonstrations.<\/p>\n
