Passport holders will walk an easy route to each restaurant and receive each eatery\u2019s tasting in exchange for a stamp on their passport.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10210\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10210\" style=\"width: 599px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sandiegodowntownnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/DSC_7119.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10210 lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/sandiegodowntownnews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/DSC_7119-1024x680.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_7119\" width=\"599\" height=\"398\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 599px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 599\/398;\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10210\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Attendees show their passports off at a previous Taste of Italy (Courtesy LIA)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The annual event gives attendees the chance to try what all the notable Little Italy eateries have to offer in one night!<\/p>\n<p>There are over 35 Little Italy restaurants participating in this year\u2019s Taste of Little Italy, including the newly opened Herb &amp; Eatery, Bracero Cocina de Raiz, Civico 1845, and The Crack Shack, among others. Local Italian favorite spots will also be participating like Filippi\u2019s Pizza Grotto, Bencotto, NaPizza, Mona Lisa and more.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees can expect to get their fair share of Italian food like specialty pastas, homemade meatballs, raviolis, pizza, even cappuccinos \u2014 but it won\u2019t stop there! A wide variety of non-Italian tastings will also be served like oysters, shrimp, desserts, and ramen \u2014 just to name a few.<\/p>\n<p>There are two different Taste Passport routes for foodies to choose from \u2014 a south route and a north route, with each route featuring many different and unique restaurants.
