We do have a regular column submitted by Patrick Henry High School and in that column there are some sports items. There is also the season schedule at the following website: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maxpreps.com\/high-schools\/patrick-henry-patriots-(san-diego,ca)\/football\/schedule.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">t.maxpreps.com\/2wXeo4i<\/a>]<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Stop HR38 CCR<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>I want to state opposition regarding a dangerous gun bill that will be coming up for a vote in the House soon, HR38 Concealed Carry Reciprocity (CCR).\u00a0 This bill would essentially nullify all of California\u2019s hard-won gun laws.<\/p>\n<p>CCR does NOT create a national standard for who can carry guns in public in the country.\u00a0In fact, it would gut our country\u2019s gun laws, override state laws, and make the weakest link the law of the land.\u00a0Many states do not have training or permitting requirements to carry a gun in public and, under CCR, gun owners would be allowed to carry their guns from state to state, no questions asked.<\/p>\n<p>CCR would force all 50 states \u2014 including those like CA with strong, sensible gun safety laws \u2014 to allow violent criminals, domestic abusers, and convicted stalkers to carry hidden, loaded guns in public.<\/p>\n<p>I ask you to call and urge your Congress members to VOTE NO on CCR.\u00a0We cannot allow this dangerous bill to affect the safety of our citizens!<\/p>\n<p><em>\u2014Wendy Wheatcroft, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Praise, but where\u2019s the football?
