Their promotion helped generate entries from a whole new group of amateur photographers.<\/p>\n The Visitor Center Gallery was filled with 115 spectacular photographs on the walls of the Gallery. For the first time, 50 digital entry photographs were rotated on a 40-inch monitor.<\/p>\n You may view the winning photographs on our website; go to mtrp.org<\/a> and click on Amateur Photo Contest under \u201cMore News.\u201d<\/p>\n The 26th annual Amateur Photo Contest is not that far away.<\/p>\n Summer camp <\/strong><\/p>\n The final summer camp, \u201cNature Detectives,\u201d for children 6 to 12, will be held Aug. 7\u201311 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the MTRP Visitor Center.<\/p>\n Children will enjoy exploring the park with Alicia Berg, the MTRP Foundation Education Program Instructor, and learn all about the fascinating plants, animals, and bugs that live in Mission Trails. Science, plus natural history and more!<\/p>\n The cost of the camp is $125 per child.
