The car show will feature pre-1974 cars, trucks and vans that will be parked along La Mesa Boulevard between Fourth Street and Spring Street for the public\u2019s viewing pleasure. The Classic Car Show is a free community event that will be held every Thursday beginning June 24 and ending Aug. 26, from 5\u20138 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s event will feature live bands every week that will play an upbeat variety of music atop the iconic La Mesa Lumber &amp; Hardware truck located at Third Street and La Mesa Boulevard. The band lineup includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Farmers \u2013 June 24<\/li>\n<li>Whiskey Ridge \u2013 July 1<\/li>\n<li>Private Domain \u2013 July 8<\/li>\n<li>Ron\u2019s Garage Band \u2013 July 15<\/li>\n<li>Zeeland \u2013 July 22<\/li>\n<li>Stars on the Water \u2013 July 29<\/li>\n<li>4 Way Street \u2013 Aug. 5<\/li>\n<li>The Siers Brothers \u2013 August 12<\/li>\n<li>The Cool Rays \u2013 Aug. 19<\/li>\n<li>The Farmers \u2013 Aug. 26<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There will also be a DJ on the corner of Nebo and La Mesa Boulevard in front of the train museum to provide a fun atmosphere on the west side of Spring Street.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis year\u2019s car show is sure to be the best one yet,\u201d saids Theresa Favro, LMVA chair and owner of Amethyst Moon. \u201cEveryone is ready to get back out there and enjoy fun events that we missed this past year due to the pandemic.
