Genesee widening delayed by rain
Due to recent rain storms, the Genesee Avenue Widening Project is behind schedule.
Several contruction tasks that were to have taken place in January have been rescheduled for this month, including continued grading for curbs, gutters and sidewalks.
Crews will prepare street section subgrade of Genesee Avenue and Scripps Hospital Drive, and the irrigation valves and the bike path at Scripps Hospital Drive will be relocated.
Most work will be done between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, although some night work between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. has been scheduled for this month.
