MISSION BEACH — Two males in their 20s were stabbed Jan. 1 after 2:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Isthmus Court in Mission Beach, according to a report from the San Diego Police Department (SDPD). The two males reportedly stopped to talk to some females while walking home from a taco shop and two other males in their 20s walked up to the group. The men exchanged words and a fight ensued. One of the males in the first group was stabbed in the stomach and the other male in the first group was stabbed in the buttocks. The two suspects fled the scene on foot. Both victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The SDPD Northern Division is investigating the incident.
