Kaitlyn, age 4, and her brother make fish printings Sept. 16 as part of the 15th anniversary celebration of Birch Aquarium at Scripps’ location at 2300 Expedition Way.
The current site is three times larger than its predecessor off La Jolla Shores Drive.
Fish printing was practiced by ancient fishermen as a way to record their catches.
