Cyclists will experience temporary delays on the Rose Canyon Bike Path while SDG&E crews remove utility poles near the pathway on Feb.15.
Intermittent, temporary delays will occur from 9 to 11 p.m. These delays are necessary to ensure the safety of crews and cyclists while work is underway. Traffic controls will be in place to alert cyclists of the work.
Motorists will not be impacted during construction.
This work is related to Mid-Coast Trolley project construction. The Mid-Coast Trolley Project will extend Blue Line Trolley service from Old Town north to the University City community, serving major activity centers such as Mission Bay Park, the VA Medical Center, UC San Diego, and University Town Center. Nine new stations will be constructed. Major construction work began in 2016, with service anticipated to begin in 2021.
