
Attendees reacted to some of the quirky art on display during a March 29 opening reception at Ed Gallery, 737 Pearl St., including “Contemporary Art” by Robert Earl Wells (dollar bills on urinal).
A live model adorned with a gas mask lay next to a drum of biohazard material. The idea is that some companies or governments will try to cover up toxic conditions with a distracting or attractive camouflage.
Real signs purchased from homeless people for H.A.P.I. – Homelss Art Project International, bring attention to the situation faced by the needy. All proceeds from H.A.P.I. are donated to the homeless society.
