The aquarium teams up with cable TV’s Discovery Channel each year to celebrate Shark Week with special lectures and activities.
Aquarium naturalists will lead a “Snorkel with the Sharks” event Aug. 25 at La Jolla Shores to observe harmless shovelnose guitarfish, and leopard and smoothhound sharks.
