Dance Gallery is an intimate evening with the San Diego Ballet, a unique sneak peek into the choreographic aspect of the creative process 8 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2650 Truxtun Road, Liberty Station, Point Loma. This isn’t a student showcase or a talent show: Only professional level company members inspire and perform. Emerging choreographers from the company step up to present a one-of-a-kind mixed rep production under the direction of acclaimed co-artistic director Javier Velasco. One night only. The 2014-2015 season will have the U.S. premier of “Seven Beauties,” the holiday favorite “The Nutcracker,” the sultry and exciting “Sweet Synergy Suite,” and will wrap up with “Midsummer’s Nights Dream, & Carnival of the Animals.”
