LA JOLLA — A white male in his early 20s used a demand note to rob the Wells Fargo inside of Vons at 7544 Girard Ave. at 10 a.m. on Oct. 21, according to police. The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect left the premises heading westbound. The suspect is described as being 5’6’’to 5’7’’, 150 pounds with short, bleached blond hair. He was wearing a hat, large sunglasses and a red shirt with blue jeans and did not appear to be armed, a police spokesman said Friday.
