Shops in the 7600 and 7700 blocks of Girard welcome the season each year with a Holiday Open House featuring refreshments, music and special demonstrations.
The nine stores that were part of this year’s event on Nov. 11 donated at least 10 percent of their day’s proceeds to a charity of their choice.
