On Oct. 5, the FBI Violent Crime Task Force asked the public to help identify a suspect in the robbery of the Chase Bank branch at 5605 La Jolla Boulevard, on Saturday, Oct. 3.
The robber entered the bank and stood in the middle of the lobby when he was approached by a bank employee. The suspect stated he wanted a million dollars and he was there to rob the bank. The suspect approached a teller and was provided a sum of money, then fled. No weapon was observed and no injuries were reported.
The suspect was believed to be about 35 years old. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
