A white male entered the US Bank located at 1331 Rosecrans St. at 9:40 a.m. on Oct. 4. The suspect approached a teller and displayed a demand note. The teller complied with the demand note and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect took the money and fled the bank. The suspect was described as a white male in his early 30s, wearing a black shirt and khaki shorts. He was also described as being clean-shaven with short brown hair. Officers responded to the area and located a white male, matching the suspect description. Witnesses were located and they positively identified the suspect. A search of the suspect revealed a large amount of money and a demand note in his pockets. The suspect was arrested for bank robbery and booked into Jail. Robbery detectives responded and will be handling the investigation.
