Thomas and James Flynn recently purchased the 2,128-square-foot retail space, at 4195 Voltaire St., for $1.9 million.
The buyers were represented by Kyle Clark, senior director at The Heritage Group. The seller, Veritas Famosa Investors L.P., was represented by Chuck Klein of Cushman & Wakefield
“Investment in this retail space at Famosa is a real opportunity for our clients,” Clark said. “The project is the first of other planned mixed-use developments along this stretch of Voltaire. As the projects are completed, the character of this neighborhood will be re-defined.”
The retail space is part of a mixed use condominium building known as Famosa. The space is occupied by Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, with a 10 year lease.
The property is located in Point Loma Heights and is in close proximity to Point Loma High School and sits at the primary intersection of Voltaire Street and Catalina Boulevard. Catalina is a prime arterial to Point Loma residents as well as workers at the SPAWAR facilities at Naval Base Point Loma. Voltaire Street is a primary access point to the Ocean Beach community. It is approximately one mile from I-8 East.
