Campbell Wear, right, won the Home Run Derby at the Pointer Alumni Game Feb. 28, when he launched four baseballs into orbit to defeat four other finalists. Wear received a baseball from the collection of Pointer head coach David Wells (left), signed by Wells, fellow PLHS alum Don Larsen and David Cone, the three New York Yankee players in history to pitch perfect games. Wear, Class of 2011, plays professionally in the Colorado Rockies organization after four years on the UC Santa Barbara roster.
