The prep baseball season isn’t that far away, and for Point Loma High’s defending Eastern League champions it’s time for their annual kickoff fund raiser.
This Saturday, Jan. 6, the team will hold a pancake breakfast for $5 per person, which includes pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee with table service provided by team players.
The fun begins at 7:30 a.m. and continues until 10 a.m. at the St. Agnes Church Hall, 1140 Evergreen St. in Point Loma. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
A donut bar and additional pancake toppings are available at an extra cost.
Immediately following the breakfast, the Pointers play their first winter ball against University City. The game is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. on David Wells Field located on the grounds of Dana Middle School, 1775 Chatsworth Blvd.
