The Peninsula Singers community choir welcomes singers with any level of experience to join them for the spring season. No audition is needed. Rehearsals are every Monday night, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the community room at Point Loma Hervey Branch Library at 3701 Voltaire St. The spring theme, leading up to May and June performances, is the music of Leonard Bernstein, including songs from his Broadway musicals – “West Side Story,” “Candide,” “Peter Pan” and “Wonderful Town” – and classical selections from his Mass and Chichester Psalms.
Interested singers should register at www.peninsulasingerssandiego.org. Registration is also available at the first few rehearsals.
