The Pacific Beach Town Council, PB Planning Group and DiscoverPB have worked more than a year with Decobike to minimize the impact of DecoBike stations in Pacific Beach. Several of the stations are still located near or across from local bike rental shops. In their last proposal, Decobike proposed three locations on the Boardwalk. All community groups were opposed to removal of trash cans or benches to accommodate 40-foot-long bike stations.
