PACIFIC BEACH — The ninth annual Row for the Cure event will take place in Mission Bay on Saturday, Oct. 31. The regatta race will begin at 7 a.m. near South Shores on Mission Bay, pass by Sea World, go around Vacation Island and Paradise Point and finish north of Ski Beach. UCSD rowers will be present to offer tips and the Dragon Boat community will offer boat rides. Costs range from $25-90, depending on single-participant or team registration.
