On Wednesday, June 15, at 7 p.m. the PB Town Council will have two guests who will speak on the alcohol and crime problems in Pacific Beach: Eric Collins, director of the Alcohol Policy Panel of San Diego County, and Rob Hall, media specialist of San Diego Advocates for Youth, at Crown Point Elementary School, at the corner of Ingraham Street and Pacific Beach Drive.
This is a continuation of the April meeting with the SDPD on crime trends in Pacific Beach. Many residents, community organizations and leaders, and businesses believe there is a direct link between alcohol and the increase and nature of crimes in our community.
This is an opportunity to help learn why PB crime statistics keep going up, and if there any solutions. Residents, community leaders, and businesses will bring their questions, express their concerns, and offer solutions.
