COURTESY PHOTO If you like being chased by demented clowns and otherwise scared out of your wits, it seems The Haunted Trail of Balboa Park is for you. Again this year, the trail features a mile-long stand of twisted pines and gnarled oaks, and it’s strongly suggested you grow eyes in the back of your head—you never know what awaits. The trail is located at Marston Point, just east of the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Juniper Street. The event is for those age 10 and up and runs Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 11 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. to midnight through Nov. 1. Tickets are $14.99 to $19.99 for both haunts. For more information, call 696-SCARE or visit www.hauntedtrail.net.
