
LA JOLLA — World-renowned violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg will perform with the New Century Chamber Orchestra at Conrad Prebys Concert Hall at UCSD on Friday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. The group will perform works by Hugo Wolf, Bela Bartok, Astor Piazzolla, and Tchaikovsky. Salerno-Sonnenberg, the music director of the group, was the subject of the 2000 Academy-Award-nominated documentary “Speaking in Strings.” She was the youngest-ever winner of the Walter W.
