Ocean Beach native Muriel Vaughn passed away on May 11, 2007.
She was 69.
Born Dec. 2, 1937, Muriel was an Ocean Beach resident her entire life. She devoted her life to caring for her family and was well loved by her friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Frank. She is also survived by two sons, Daniel and Robert, both of San Diego; two daughters, Cheryl, of Dubai, and Diane, of Las Vegas; ten great-grandchildren, including and her three great-grandsons.
We will all miss her and she will never be forgotten. She is in a better place and we will all see her again someday. Muriel’s memorial service was held at Beardsley Mitchell Funeral Home on May 19, 2007.
