
The Mission Beach centennial celebrations continue with the Taste of Mission Beach event on Thursday, April 10 from 5 to 9 p.m. Eighteen restaurants in the community are participating, including The Mission, Rubicon Deli, Sandbar Sports Bar& Grill, Bahia Resort Hotel’s Café Bahia, and Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa’s The Atoll.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at six locations leading up to the event: Luigi’s at the Beach (3210 Mission Blvd.), Cheesy Express (3219 Mission Blvd.), Starkeys BBQ (3231 Mission Blvd.), Olive Café (805 Santa Clara Place), Saska’s Steak & Seafood (3768 Mission Blvd.), and Baked (735 Santa Clara Place). The Taste of Mission Beach has two starting locations, where tickets may be purchased. They are Wavehouse Beach Club (3125 Ocean Front Walk) and Saska’s Steak & Seafood. Transportation options include walking, biking, shuttles and riding the Bahia Belle sternwheeler between the Bahia and Catamaran hotels. Mission Beach’s Cheap Rentals will provide complimentary bicycles.
The Taste of Mission Beach restaurants includes Wavehouse Beach Club, Luigi’s at the Beach, Cheesy Express, Starkey’s BBQ, Olive Café, Baked, Rosaria Pizza, Saska’s Steak & Seafood/Saska’s Sushi, Guava Beach, Chop Shop, Kojack’s, Swell Café, Freaky Good Gyros, The Mission, Rubicon Deli, Sandbar Sports Bar& Grill, Café Bahia, and The Atoll.
Participants will receive a red wristband and a map with locations of the establishments and shuttle stops.
