A 60-year-old man was arrested on a felony hit-and-run charge after his vehicle struck a female pedestrian in La Jolla Aug. 1.
The 77-year-old victim was hospitalized with a broken pelvis, according to San Diego police. The victim was in a crosswalk on the 6400 block of La Jolla Boulevard when she was struck by the suspect’s Ford Expedition, he said.
The driver pulled over but left the scene shortly afterward. He was later arrested for hit and run and DUI.
