I would like to set the record straight: The calendar piece about Point Loma Summer Concerts focused mainly on some of the issues we had during the season. The Concerts Board did everything we could to mitigate these issues and create a safe environment, and it worked due to increased security measures and the support of concertgoers.

I want to focus on the positives: 1) The concerts are from the community – for the community. The all-volunteer board works tirelessly all year to bring them to all of you. 2) We celebrated our 20th Point Loma Summer Concerts season with one of the best lineups we ever had – who hung in there for two years due to COVID. 3) The concerts have great support from our presenting sponsor, Willis Allen – and a huge lineup of local businesses. 4) We look forward to celebrating our 21st season in 2023!
