
As part of the City of La Mesa Community Relations and Veterans Commission Livable La Mesa program, the Commission will be hosting a veterans resource fair on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 6 to 8 p.m. at the La Mesa Adult Enrichment Center.
Representatives from the County of San Diego Office of Veterans Affairs and Health & Human Services Agency will be on site, along with other veteran serving organizations, to share information on topics such as VA claims, mental health services, networking, and more.
“La Mesa is home to over 4,000 veterans,” said La Mesa Community Relations and Veterans Commission Chairperson Dennis Sharp, “We look forward to bringing resources to La Mesa so they can learn about and understand available benefits.”
Parking will be available at the Adult Enrichment Center parking lot on University Avenue or across the street at MacArthur Park on Memorial Drive.
