Many locals are not aware of the treasure they have just minutes away in Lakeside, the Barona Kumeyaay Cultural Museum. It is San Diego County’s first museum on an Indian reservation dedicated to the perpetuation and presentation of the local Kumeyaay-Diegueno Native culture and entrance is free.
