An 87-year-old man who suffers from dementia was found safe at a trolley stop in Mission Valley about seven hours after he went missing from his La Jolla home, police said Oct. 26.
Joseph Tausch was reported missing after driving away from his home on Westbourne Street near Draper Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Oct. 25, according to San Diego police. He may have headed to the Serra Mesa area, where he used to live, or he may have gotten lost, police said.
Tausch was spotted around 4:45 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Qualcomm Stadium Station trolley stop, according to San Diego police Officer Dan Lasher. He was not hurt.
Police were unsure where Tausch was while he was missing. — FOX 5
