Danielle Han, a senior at La Jolla Country Day School, is honored by the Golden Triangle Rotary Club for teaching crochet classes at the Monarch School for at-risk youth. The program is part of a new partnership between Rotary Clubs International and the Girl and Boy Scouts to recognize scouts who earn Gold Award or Eagle Scout honors. Danielle and other Stitches Club members made and sold scarves to buy crochet supplies for the Monarch students.
