San Diego Fire Department Chief Gina LaMantia, Assitant Chief Kevin Ester and Deputy Fire Chief Roger Fisher pose for a picture at the FhrenheitSD event on Sept. 8. The inaugural event, held at the Hyatt Regency in La Jolla, was put on by the San Diego Fire Rescue Foundation. The $50,000 raised will help provide equipment, training, technology and community education for first responders.
