San Diegans can drink, eat and dance the night away while helping to fight AIDS during The Center’s fourth annual Dining for Life, April 29.
More than 100 restaurants, bars, cafes and nightclubs are expected to participate countywide, donating at least 25 percent of the day’s sales to The Center’s HIV/AIDS services and prevention programs.
Last year’s event raised $105,000, and this year organizers are hoping to raise more than $125,000. Money raised from the event goes to fund programs such as The Center’s Youth Housing Project, the Hillcrest Youth Center, Behavioral Health Services, AIDS Walk San Diego and more.
Volunteers are crucial to the success of the event and are needed in a number of areas. To volunteer or for more information, call 497-2920, ext. 247.
