The Clay Park Improvements Project is moving ahead.
The Spurlock Design Team has been hired by the city and residents can meet with them as a community on Wednesday, May 17, 6:30 p.m., at the United Domestic Workers Hall at 4855 Seminole Drive.
The meeting will be an opportunity for residents to share what they’d like to see in the renovations.
Among questions residents can look at include what kind of shade structures do they envision, what kinds of play equipment do they like and more. Community members are also advocating for a track on the Joint Use Field. Everything is on the table and the budget has been funded at $4 million. The general development plan update is complete and now it’s time for the design details.
