The statement by a kayak operator in last week’s story “Kayak operators hit rough waters” (page 1) that “City Council President Scott Peters and other officials increased permit fees” is incorrect. Fee increases were approved by the Park and Rec department, not the City Council.
Also in last week’s paper, Viking volleyball senior outside hitter Dillon Lesniak was misidentified in a photo caption (page 14).
