SAN DIEGO — All City of San Diego administrative offices will be closed in observance of Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11. In addition, city recreation centers, pools, libraries and the Family Justice Center will be closed, according to a memo released by the City of San Diego. Robb Field Skate Park, Carmel Valley Skate Park, Rancho Peñasquitos Skate Park, Bill and Maxine Wilson Skate Park, and the Charles L. Lewis III Memorial Skate Park will be open on Thursday. Trash collections will occur and the Miramar Landfill will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The city’s golf courses will be open as will Balboa Park. However, all public buildings within the park will be closed. Police Officers and Fire-Rescue crews will be on duty and parking meters will not be enforced.
