Charlie Paschal was born in Logansport, Ind., on June 3, 1929. He moved to Ocean Beach in 1959, where he remained until his death on Sept. 6.
Paschal was employed as a patrol agent with the state of California and later a probation officer with the federal government. He retired in 1986.
Paschal was a member of several Masonic Lodges and Shriners in San Diego. He was very active with the United Methodist Church, where he served on different conference, district and local committees.
Charlie is survived by his longtime companion, Judy Beach; daughters Ruth and Deborah Paschal; and grandchildren Nikki and Joshua. Paschal loved and enjoyed his grandchildren very much.
He requested no service.
