Cabrillo Clubs of Calif. to offer scholarships SAN DIEGO — Graduating high school seniors of Portuguese descent who qualify may begin applying for $500 scholarships to be given June 2011. Applications have been distributed to all of the city and county schools to find candidates. To qualify, a student must have a grade-point average of 3.5 or better and have been involved in school and community service. The deadline for applications is March 15.
