Partnership OKs Centre City trolley loop
The board of directors of the Downtown Partnership endorsed a proposal for a high-frequency Centre City trolley loop downtown at its March 27 board meeting.
The proposal would relocate the Blue Line to the existing track along Harbor Drive on Bayside. The Orange Line would end at Park and Imperial instead of going through downtown. Passengers heading to Centre City from either line would have to transfer to the Centre City Loop.
The San Diego Downtown Partnership was formed in 1993. It merged San Diegans Inc. with the Centre City Association. The Partnership has 325 members and serves downtown’s economic development and interests.
