Junior Theatre delivers ‘Charlie Brown Chrismas’
The La Jolla YMCA and the San Diego Junior Theatre are partnering to put on the holiday classic production “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” opening at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at the La Jolla YMCA Firehouse.
Running for three weekends through Dec. 15, the play will have showtimes of 7 p.m. on Fridays, and 2 and 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

Monarch Gallery shows Christopher photos
The Monarch Gallery, 1205 Prospect St., will host a reception for award-winning photographer David Christopher on Friday, Dec. 1, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Christopher’s newest release called “Autumn Whisper” will be on view, and he will sign his 2007 San Diego calendar. Ten percent of gross calendar sales will be donated to the Rady Children’s Hospital.
