The recent annual Christmas tree decoration at Draper Park, sponsored by GDC Construction, took a bit of a different turn this year, as our photographer Sharon Hinckley stood on the crane (visible in the middle of the bulb) and took the image. The tree is just one of about a million in the neighborhood, and it evokes thoughts of the annual La Jolla Christmas Parade and Holiday Festival, set for Sunday, Dec. 6.
