The City of La Mesa, in partnership with the San Diego County Library, will host the third annual Story Trails in City parks.
Story Trails are offered at 19 parks throughout the County to celebrate Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros (Day of the Child/Day of the Book) in conjunction with special events and book giveaways at County branch libraries.
This year, two different self-guided stories will be displayed at Harry Griffen Regional Park (9550 Milden Street) and at MacArthur Park (4900 Memorial Drive) during the month of April.
A series of signs with original stories written and designed by library staff has been placed around each park.
