Bishop’s harriers finish strong
The recent Coastal Conference Southern League Cluster Meet saw some strong performances by run ners from The Bishop’s School.
Bishop’s won the girls race behind the efforts of sophomores Laura Wyatt and Elizabeth Schulze, who finished first and second, respectively. Bishop’s had its top five runners (scoring places) in the top 10 places.
The Bishop’s boys’ team finished second behind La Jolla Country Day School. Junior Andy Morgosh was a strong second and sophomore Henry Su finished fourth.
“This was a brand new course, very hilly, very challenging, but all the athletes ran extremely well, considering,” Bishop’s head cross-country coach Mary Fran Cullen said.
