Triangle Chamber elects new board
The month of January got off to a great start for the Golden Triangle Chamber of Commerce.
During the annual meeting on Jan. 16, the 2008 board of directors was elected. George Schmall will serve as chairman of the board, Danny Rudick will serve as vice chair. Lamar Byrd is vice president and ambassador chair, David Lipsky is vice president of marketing, and Joshua Goldsmith is the vice president of membership.
Immediately following the annual meeting, Chamber members enjoyed great food and beverages at the Business After Five Mixer hosted by the beautiful Embassy Suites Hotel.
The very next morning the board kicked off its weekly networking breakfast series. The breakfasts will be held every Thursday morning at 7 a.m. at the Bristol Farms Store and Restaurant in the Costa Verde Center.
Members and nonmembers alike are welcome and attendance is free. Delicious no-host breakfast selections are available, as well as a variety of fruits, juices and pastries.
These informal networking breakfasts are offered as an alternative to the costly networking organizations that require perfect attendance and a highly structured format. The chamber’s “drop in when you can” format provides the opportunity and the flexibility for busy business people to fit networking into their dynamic schedules as time permits. Please join the fun soon and bring a friend.
