Town Council will hear parking features
Ray Trippi, senior parking enforcement supervisor for the City of San Diego, will make a presentation to the La Jolla Town Council during its meeting on Thursday, Oct. 11.
Trippi will discuss parking enforcement and two main features of the La Jolla Community Parking Advisory Board’s pilot program, which is being reviewed and gathering public comment.
Trippi will speak at 4:30 p.m. at the meeting at La Jolla Recreation Center, 615 Prospect St.
Shores Assoc. calls for board candidates
The La Jolla Shores Association is seeking candidates for its board of directors.
Anyone interested must be a resident of La Jolla Shores or own a business in the Shores area, and be a member of LJSA. Board members serve a two-year term.
Nominations must be received by Oct. 8.

Taste of La Jolla needs volunteers
The upcoming Taste of La Jolla fund-raiser for La Jolla High School needs volunteers to help check tickets and greet participants at each restuarant.
The event, which benefits the school, will be held Monday, Oct. 15 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
